Old Time Hockey

Its that time of the year again... the National Hockey League kicks off tonight with a couple of barn burners. Sadly I'll be on a train that doesnt land until 8 and I'll miss the faceoff.. its gonna be a long year.

The Run down:
Capitals vs Bruins.  Caps get the W 4-3... a physical game where we see what both teams are made of, Boston plays physical but Washington's finesse is just too much. Ovetchkin scores twice.

Toronto vs. Montreal. Toronto might be a surprise squad this year, but Montreal is the center of the hockey universe. I see Montreal doing big things this year. 3-1 Habs.

San Jose vs Colorado. I like SJ in the West, Colorado is a perennial powerhouse but I think the tides are changing out there.. something smells fishy about the whole thing. Sharks nap the Aves.. 2-1

Vancouver vs Calgary. A good old Canadian get up. Calgary sucks without Theo Fluery, Vancouver 4-1.

Great games on tap for tonight.. I suggest watching them from your local pub or eatery.. nothing picks one up better than cold beer and great eats.

What to watch: Grab a Molson and tune into the Habs-Leafs game.. enjoy.
